Ok so I am obsess with there lo mein, chicken wings and ice tea.. Gave this place a second chance and everything was pretty good! The owner even made sure that the food was not burnt! At least they are willing to grow and fix their mistakes. :)

Ordered food from here for dinner. Did the Family Pack. Sorry I wasn't impressed. I'm not a big fan of Chinese food here in FL. I have never had good Chinese food here, let alone really good Chinese food. We got the chicken fried rice. The pieces of chicken were so small you couldn't tell it actually had chicken in it. The rice was old. There was no egg in the rice (maybe because of the avian bird flu??) Got egg rolls. ..took one bite and had to spit it out. It was inedible. Had the beef with broccoli...hmm suspect, the General Tso chicken was the only thing I found edible and then it wasn't anything to rave over. We also got the chicken lo mein. The lo mein was passable...barely. The General Tso chicken and the beef came with broccoli. Didn't even try the broccoli from either dish but it didn't look appetizing at all. All-in-all I wouldn't order food from here again or eat there. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. The only good thing I can say is that they deliver, they deliver in my neighborhood and they delivered in a timely manner. So if you're starving and are hungover and don't feel like going out to eat, cooking or picking up food this place is perfect for you.

These guys are awesome! They've had a place in NYC and did well before moving down here. It's a great family run place and the service is fantastic. I've been going here since they've open and have recommended them to dozens of people. It is the best Chinese food in South Florida and we are lucky to have it in Pembroke Pines!

Good place for Chinese take out.. One of my biggest concerns about eating Chinese take out is kitchen cleanliness and this place is always clean in the kitchen.. I always look at the floors vents and employees and they are consistantly clean. Also the fact that you can even clearly see the kitchen in itself is a big plus for me.. The food slightly better than average but their crab Rangoon is killer.. If looking for clean Chinese take out I definitely would recommend..

China Taste is my all time favorite Chinese take-out joint in the area. I've been ordering from several restaurants in the area and was disappointed with the food until I found China Taste. First off, the delivery is super fast! On a Friday night, me and my mother usually order around 5:45-6:00pm and get our delivery well before 6:30pm. That's a big plus for me because I hate waiting for my food longer than I have to. Secondly, the food is great. Some of their items are hits and misses, such as the sesame chicken- definitely not their best dish. But the crab rangoons and steamed dumplings are the deal! The dumplings are fresh and the sauce it comes with is great as well. Their won ton soup is one of my favorites, too. The broth is not too salty and the won tons are huge! I usually order the boneless ribs with white rice and it has to be the best Chinese take-out boneless ribs I've ever had. The white rice is sticky (just how I like it) & the ribs itself are chunky. If you are looking for great take out & super fast delivery for Chinese food in the immediate Pembroke Pines area, you must try China Taste! Enjoy!

Best food in town. Get the dumplings. Fried or steamed you can't go wrong. Also try the egg drop soup. The restaurant is clean and the employees are nice. All around good idea. Remember to get the dumplings.

I'm a native New Yorker and after being here for a couple of years I finally found Chinese food that takes me back to Chinatown. This is the only Chinese restaurant I order takeout. The food is great, my husband's favorite is the beef w/broccoli mine is the wonton soup and dumplings whether boiled or fried.

As far as Chinese takeout goes this place is pretty rockin. I personally judge Chinese food on the rice. If you mess up rice it's almost a given that you can mess up the rest of the food. The dining area is rather small with only a few tables but what it lacks in size it makes up in flavor. It's not too bland but not too salty. You can tell that the flavor comes from actual spice. There hasn't been a dish that I didn't like and their delivery time is reasonable. I wouldn't say that there is any one dish that they do that's over the top but I can guarantee that anything you you will taste fresh & delicious.

Best take out in the area The food taste fresh and they are always on point with the orders. Wonton soup is great and i suggest you request beansprouts (no additional charge) You can see them prep the food and everything is clean. Nit greasy or overly season. I would give this place 6 stars if i could.

I can always rely on this place, for quick, good food, last minute. They are always so friendly, and my meal always taste the same, very flavorful and perfect. It's a sweet family run place, I'll never go anywhere else for Chinese.

China Taste 604 N University Dr near Publix , plenty of Parking, No decor just photo menu above you chose # x special. No Music just constant ringing of phone , walk in customers & clanging of cooking pans. Florescent Lighting, 3 tables to sit, mostly To go & delivery orders. One Unisex bathroom. Ordered the tasty garlic chicken combo w/ Egg roll & drink - added s order of steamed dumplings. The garlic chicken dish is a good size, but lacks in chicken size & amount, vegetable rice served ok, stir fry vegetable good. Egg roll kind of bland tasting, but fried perfectly this time , last time had a very oily bottom. Steamed dumplings ok but not great Ordered beef & broccoli to go - little lite & small on beef & little overcooked on beef, broccoli little undercooked. Still was good. Lunch / Daily Specials / Promotions. Staff constantly moving & mildly friendly. Cost $25 & owner request- take out tip cup & line on recite. / value level - decent Rating 8.0

I have no idea how this place is so highly rated on yelp. I decided to try them out because our usual neighborhood Chinese go-to has been inconsistent on the sweet and sour chicken lately... Overcooked, rubbery and bitter tasting chicken chunks. China Taste is located right next to Publix so I'm sure they get a lot of foot traffic and free publicity from the proximity. The customer service was good but the food was gross. The fried dumplings were greasy and burned. The chicken chunks and sweet and sour sauce were meh. The chicken fried rice was disgusting. It actually tasted like dirt. The egg roll was flavorless. I didn't think to check the box before taking out because normally you get a plethora of sauce packets... Got home and discovered that they had not only not included any sauce but also no cutlery. Looks like we will be returning to our usual Chinese establishment, Top China in the Publix plaza on Taft Street.

was my go to spot for dinner but not anymore. not because the food has fallen off,but because of my "eat right" plan. i always get there honey garlic wings, good stuff.i have had better fried rice but there is not bad.food is cooked to order so you may want to call ahead, but the wait is not that long if you order in store.i don't like them not having seating if you wanted to stay and eat.only two tables are available.

I have driven 20 miles to get food from here for my wife! (LOL) The place is run by some nice people, their kids are there often, the food is great, they will accommodate just about any request. Always good food.

I have eaten here many times, and can honestly say that the food really isn't that great. Don't get me wrong. Some of it is pretty good.. But the rice they serve with their lunch specials is disgusting! It tastes like ground cardboard! Nasty stuff! Anyhow, everything else is okay. I wouldn't put it on my highly recommended list or anything. The owners are okay. But unless you're really sociable with them, they're pretty indifferent. The kids are always running around making noise, which is very annoying. I've had a few times where they served me spoiled food, but I didn't say anything. I just stopped going there.

We just moved to this area and we needed to check this place out, waaay to tired to cook today. The place looks clean, very small, not intimate because the 3 tables where you sit are flushed up at the entrance. As i walked in, i was greeted quickly, i had questions about a few things and the counter person was very helpful. I ordered a wrong item, and he just added the right one for free! No drama. The food came out fairly quickly in just a few minutes. It was take out so they put it in a medium size box with everything one would need, sauces, napkins, forks, cookies...etc, neatly inside. Food tasted good, the rice was ok but i ordered the Lemon Chicken, and my wife ordered the sweet/sour chicken. They were AMAZING!! Eggrolls were crispy but not much flavor. I am an eggroll-aholic, so i was a bit dissapointed. No less, i will be ordering again because thier menu is huge. Overall good experience, freindly and helpful staff, clean location. Easy easy parking....time to order again..yaay!!

I'm happy I found this place, I've been coming here with my boyfriend for the past 3+ years now. The food is great, the service is great and the owner already knows us and what we want to order every time. Yes, the place is a little small, it's more of a take-out and delivery place and it's so worth it. I recommend the boneless spare ribs and the honey chicken. :-)

Born and raised in NY it's hard to find good Chinese food here. The last place I tried in the area I wanted to throw up. China taste is awesome!! I got the chicken and broccoli dinner with a spring roll and wonton soup. Everything had soooo much flavor. Can't wait to come back to try something new.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
